Mossrunner

(NEEDS UPDATE)

Mossrunner Visual Reference Sheet

Mossrunners are small, herbivorous creatures that dart through forest underbrush. They resemble long-legged rodents with moss-like fur for camouflage. Mossrunners are the size of muntjac fawns with sleek bodies and long spindly legs. Their fur is short and velvety with thick patches of moss-textured fur along the back of hips, often green-brown to match the forest floor. Their eyes are wide and side-facing, they have a stubby, leafy tail used to aid in camouflage, and they have a long pink tongue for gathering leaves. On average, Mossrunners are 25 centimeters tall.

Mossrunners are a primary prey animal, perfect for a single fel or a pair of juniors/cadets to hunt. As herbivores, their meat is lean and clean-tasting. They often weigh around 4-6kg, providing a significant amount of meat, and are the source of most standard, every-day meals.
