Daystem

Daystem is a large, starchy tuber that grows in the sun-dappled clearings beneath Sunfruit Trees. Its skin is a coppery color, and its flesh is vibrant orange and sweet, especially after a frost. It can be roasted, mashed, or dried and ground into a sweet flour. Its sweetest tubers are dug up after the first frosts of Latesusurrous, though new growth can be harvested in Vernal.
