Brinewheat

Brinewheat is a hardy, salt-tolerant reed that grows in the brackish waters of coastal marshes and river deltas. The grains are smaller and chewier than earthly rice, with a slightly mineral flavor. Harvesting it is a muddy, labor-intensive job. This salt-tolerant rice is harvested in Susurrous after its grains have hardened.
