Gritroot

Gritroot is a gnarly, dense root that clings to rocky cliffs and mountain sides. It’s bland and starchy, but incredible filling and stores for a very long time, making it a vital hibernal survival food. It requires hours of boiling to become edible, a symbol of perseverance. The dense root is dug up in Susurrous.
