Whispercane

(NEEDS UPDATE)

Whispercane is a tall, reed-like stalk with soft, translucent swaying fronds. It smells faintly of mint and anise, steeped in tea and burned as incense to calm stomach cramps, reduce retching, and soothe dizziness. Often nicknamed “the still breath”, Whispercane is used for seasickness and nausea, especially that which is caused by wasting illness. Whispercane is best harvested in Midsolstice. In late Solstice its leaves produce delicate, silver “floss-flowers”, and once flowering begins, potency starts to wane.
