Stiltjaw
(NEEDS UPDATE)
Stiltjaws are deer-like grazers with narrow, elongated jaws and tall legs adapted to swampy terrain. They often freeze in place when frightened, tensing their muscles and making them hard to take down. Female stiltjaws may also often fight back with their kicks and bites.
Stiltjaws are deerlike, usually 1.2-1.5 meters tall at the shoulder. They have very long legs with double-jointed knees and high hip placements. They have slender skulls with a thin, tapering low jaw and strong neck muscles. Their jaw is long and narrow, with rough scraping teeth adapted to marsh reeds. Their coloration is pale and dusty - grays and dull creams - for blending into marshland.
