Sunscale
(NEEDS UPDATE)
The Sunscale Tree is a tall palm with fan-shaped, golden-hued fronds, shimmering and scaly under sunlight. Sunscale Nuts are large and contain drinkable liquid. Its husk fibers can be woven into mats and nests. Its blossoms are spindly and creamy, dangling between the fronds. Its growth is straight and columnar, rising dramatically out of dunes, plains, and beaches. The liquid-rich Sunscale Nuts are a vital year-round source of hydration in arid climates, and are hardest to crack in dry Hibernal.
