Mooncherry

Mooncherry Trees are spindly, red-black, and smooth with faint glowing spots visible during a full Aurelion. Its leaves are long and ovate with dusky undersides. It bears Mooncherries, sweet and pale-lilac, these cherries can be eaten raw or fermented. The pits can be ground and brewed, and have a mild sedative effect. Nightsongs like nesting in Mooncherry trees, and it’s seen as unlucky if you witness one’s death. Mooncherry blossoms are pale-pink and nearly translucent in the moonlight. Mooncherry trees often grow in transition zones or moist and open areas, often alone or in pairs. The sweet, pale-lilac cherries are harvested in Solstice.
